Day 2 with Body for Life

So really I’m not changing the way I eat that much (i.e. I still had Popeye’s chicken for dinner last night), but I’m eating smaller portions more often, so I”m not that hungry when I eat out. Instead of having 2 or 3 peices of chicken with a large helping of mashed potatos/gravey, red beans & rice and cole slaw, I had ONE peice of chicken and small helpings of the sides. I was still plenty satisfied too! I also had a pack of 100 calorie brownie bites, which is really only about 4 bites of brownie. The packaging is what makes it perfect though. Because you open one pack, you feel like you’ve eaten more and your sweet/chocolate craving is satisfied! For my mid morning/lunch time “meal” I’m having cheese, crakers and summer sausage. Which is delicious!
We’re supposed to eat 6 times a day, which right now isn’t easy to do but that’s because I don’t have everything I’d like to have to eat for snacks and stuff, and I’m still new at this, so I”m giving myself a “warm up” period. I’ll get it all figured out eventually.
I did do my exercising today! I didn’t try to do it first thing in the morning, I waited until my schedule allowed for it. I did 6 different types of upper body weight training, with 0, 2, 3 & 5 lb weights (the 0 lbs was actually me holding nothing in my hands and the 5 lbs was me holding a 2 & 3 lb weight in each hand, but whatever). Now my arms are tired and a little sore! So I must be on the right track! LOL!
