EFT and Weightloss

I know it’s been a while since I last posted here. Mostly I’ve been avoiding my health and weight issues. I stopped exercising and felt really guilty about it. Of course the guilt just adds weight and keeps me from doing the things that I want to do. It’s a vicious circle that I’d really like to get out of now. I’ve been learning EFT and Reiki, but I’ve stopped doing that too, that is until recently.
The other day I recieved an email promotion about the DVD “Try It On Everything“, which is a how to DVD on EFT. They had a short promotion to purchase the DVD and Companion Book for “pick your own price”. The lowest amount was one that I could afford so, even though I really didn’t have the money, I went ahead and purchased it anyway. I”m glad I did!!
I started skimming through the book and happened onto the chapter on using EFT for Weightloss and it really hit home. I’ve always known that weight issues were more an emotional issue than a food issue. If you’ve read my blog before, you’ll know that I’ve never had a weight problem until I hit 30. There’s been many issues that I’ve been dealing with that have manifested in my weight. I know, in my head, that my weight would melt off if I could just figure out how to get my spirit and emotions behind the idea of it. I knew I needed to get past certain problems. I’ve known what these problems are for a long time now, but recognizing them and getting past them are two different things.
With this book and DVD I have the tool to do just that now.
So this is my plan:
- Use EFT Daily
- EFT to get past emotional issues that are keeping me overweight
- EFT to start liking exercise
- Drink EAS Protein shakes for breakfast
- Exercise more regularly
- Post regularly on my progress with pictures and video
It’s a short plan for now, and I’m not putting too much pressure on myself to change my habbits. I figure one of the things that will help me out with exercising more, is using the EFT method to get past the fact that I don’t like to exercise. I also don’t want to change my habbits TOO much, because I want to see how well the EFT works on it’s own. My first post for the actual dieting will be next. I wanted to explain what I”m doing before I post my first days stuff.
